Someone at the locks last night suggested I take a different route back home, to which I obliged. Too many train tracks!
Started the day like a champ with some pasta and ice cream at The Opinicon. I also got to see the Kawartha Voyageur go thru the locks.
I started my way on the Cataraqui trail just so see a few more KMs and I’m glad I did, in about 10KM I got to see gorgeous wetlands, which felt like enough.
Stopped at Merrickville for fish and chips, and a radler! Crossing the street there was a park and I couldn’t resist a little nap.
Later I also explored the Osgoode Link Trail, and the Sawmill Creek Pathway right before arriving home, both super fun and beautiful!
Managed to capture the last bits of sunset. Feeling very accomplished with this bike tour!
