🇳🇱to Winsum #eurobiketrip

last night i woke up at 3 am freaking out because "it rained inside my tent", due to condensation. I had to learn how to setup everything correctly (tie tent poles, tighten things, opening vents) to make sure inside condensation falls through the rain fly instead of inside the tent.

today was one of the most magical days of the trip. we took a detour to skip the wind and ended up in a really small town, they had a working Mill that you can go into, and someone shows us everything about it.

as we were leaving, there was a storm, so we took shelter in a small community center and a live band was just starting playing, we hung with the locals and chatted with them afterwards. they even gave us a CD as a memory, it seemed like they had never had such an international audience. the town has a population of 370 people!

we also saw a crazy military exercise, they were throwing crates and stuff. it seemed like a NATO exercise, with flightradar we saw multiple countries and scary looking planes involved.

through the route we passed by a national park that has a sky/light reserve, it really feels worth it to come back with better weather and enjoy the stars

today was really nice day, we saw so much!
